In this Carmel, CA French country-inspired cottage we removed the walls that created three very small spaces (kitchen, dining room and laundry room), vaulted the ceiling to create more volume, and incorporated the various functions into one multi-functional environment. The colors of the cabinetry were inspired by a local artist’s painting, which hangs on the wall next to the refrigerator.
